In addition to my roles as a historian, writer, and teacher, I am a translator. Thus far, I have translated—solely or in partnership with colleagues—several scholarly articles from Russian to English. You can find references to them on my CV page.
Because the summer—that is: non-teaching—season is upon us, now seems a good time to hang out my shingle. I’m available to take on translations of any length and many styles.
Although history is clearly most familiar to me, I am comfortable with a range of Russian prose, having considerable experience reading and interpreting journalism, literature, literary criticism, and other genres as part of my Russian language training.
If you seek a careful, professional translation rendered in cogent English prose, please contact me via this site’s contact page.
